Alcohol as a way not to solve problems

Why “relaxing” turns into escape, not rest.

Case. One partner increasingly eases tension with alcohol; the problems remain and grow.

Model. A reboot instead of a fix: the symptom is muted, the bug worsens. It’s not strength or rest, but avoidance.

What helped. Naming it plainly; looking for the real pain under the habit; support without cover-up, and a specialist if needed.

Lesson. Problems aren’t solved at the bottom of a bottle; real strength is to face them.
