Uptime Family is a non-commercial research project. We follow data minimization: the site is static, there is no signup, and we do not collect or store visitors' personal data.
1. Operator
The data operator is the author of the Uptime Family project. For any data-related request: research@uptime-family.ru. The project is non-commercial and sells no services.
2. What data is processed
- Website: no personal data is requested — no registration, login, or forms asking for name/phone/address.
- Technical analytics: when self-hosted analytics (Umami) is enabled, only anonymized visit data (page, device type, referrer) is processed, with no cross-site cookie tracking and no third-party sharing. Analytics may be disabled by default.
- Case submissions (Telegram bot): stories are accepted anonymized. The bot requests no name or contact details and asks to remove any phone/e-mail found in the text. Only the anonymized case content is stored.
3. Purpose
Anonymized data is used solely for the project's research and educational purposes. It is not used for advertising, profiling of individuals, or transfer to third parties.
4. Legal basis
Processing of anonymized submissions is based on the sender's consent, expressed by an explicit action (confirmation before sending). Technical analytics rests on the legitimate interest of keeping the site available and secure.
5. Retention
Anonymized cases are kept as long as needed for research and may be deleted at any time. Analytics logs are kept for a limited period and aggregated.
6. Your rights
You may request information about, correction, blocking, or deletion of your data, and withdraw consent, by writing to research@uptime-family.ru.
7. Security
Access to anonymized materials is limited to the project author. Data in transit is protected by TLS. We embed no third-party advertising or tracking scripts.
