Silence as punishment

The difference between a pause to cool down and a boycott as a weapon.

Case. One partner punishes the other with a demonstrative silence for days.

Model. This isn’t Safe Mode (a pause to repair) but a denial of service as a lever of pressure. The system “punishes” the user instead of recovering.

Protocol. Distinguish a pause with a promise to return from a boycott; name the need directly rather than punishing with silence.

Lesson. Silence heals only if it’s a breather, not a weapon.
